Main research direction: Utilization and research of biomass resources

Mainly engaged in the development, utilization, and improvement research of agricultural and forestry biomass resources. In response to the development needs of biomass resources research and development, genetic engineering and excellent genetic resources are used to genetically modify the composition of biomass plant cell walls to meet the conditions for biomass resource application, which is of great significance for reducing the cost of industrial biomass conversion.

I am in charge of one National Natural Science Foundation Youth Fund project (ongoing, first place), one Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation Youth Fund project (completed, first place), and one Jiangsu University Senior Talent Launch Project (ongoing, first place); As a key member, participated in one National Natural Science Foundation of China general fund (completion, third place), and participated in multiple national, provincial, and ministerial level scientific research projects; Published a total of 16 papers, applied for 2 patents (1 granted), and published 4 SCI papers as the first author in international academic journals such as Plant, Cell&Environment (Zone 1, Plant TOP), Industrial Crops&Products (Zone 1, Agriculture and Forestry TOP), Frontiers in Plant Science, and Plant Cell, Tissue and Organ Culture.

The research group is recruiting long-term master's and doctoral students with majors in environmental science, biotechnology, molecular biology, bioinformatics, agriculture and forestry, as well as domestic and foreign postdoctoral applications.
