Recently, Professor Xun Suhang from the Environmental Health and Ecological Security Research Center of our hospital published the latest research paper "Constructing Interface Chemical Coupling S-scheme Heterojunction" in the TOP Journal of Environment and Energy, "Applied Catalysis B: Environment and Energy" (SCI Zone 1, IF=22.1) MoO3-x@PPy   for enhancing photocatalytic oxidative desulfurization performance: Adjusting LSPR effect via oxygen vacancy engineering”。 Jiangsu University is the first author of this paper, and our graduate student Hu Chenchao is the first author. Associate Researcher Xun Suhang from the research center, Associate Professor Zhu Linhua from Hainan Normal University, and Professor Zhu Wenshuai from China University of Petroleum (Beijing) are co corresponding authors.

The composite catalyst with the optimal concentration of oxygen vacancies exhibited good activation performance for H2O2 oxidant under visible light and achieved efficient conversion of DBT in simulated diesel. This study provides new ideas and perspectives for the clean treatment of diesel using photocatalytic oxidation technology.
