Recently, our latest research paper "Artificial and Biosynthetic Nanoparticles Boost Bioelectrochemical Reactions via Efficient Bidirectional Electron Transfer of Shewanella loihica" was published online in Small (IF: 13.3). Jiangsu University is the only completed unit, with Chen Han, a master's student from the class of 2020, as the first author, and our faculty member Fang Zhen as the corresponding author.
This study is a further extension of the published work (Bioelectricity and CO2 to butter production using photobioelectrochemical cells with bio hydrogen. Bioresource Technology 398 (2024) 130530), which will open up new perspectives for constructing bioelectrochemical reaction systems and provide some reference for the efficient synthesis of CO2 to multi carbon chemicals under electrocatalytic conditions. This research achievement has received funding from the National Key Research and Development Program and the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
