In order to further standardize the management of hazardous chemicals and hazardous waste in laboratories and enhance the safety awareness of graduate research, our institute organized a special training on laboratory safety continuing education - full process management of hazardous chemicals and hazardous waste recycling on March 13, 2024. At the training session, Teacher Deng Chunmeng gave a detailed explanation of the full process management of hazardous chemicals from the aspects of classification, procurement, transportation, storage, use management, and disposal. Through the analysis of various hazardous chemical accident cases in the laboratory, students were able to have a clearer understanding of the importance of standardized use and management of hazardous chemicals. Subsequently, Teacher Deng introduced the requirements for the collection, temporary storage, and transfer of laboratory waste, as well as the management process for recycling laboratory waste in the college, emphasizing the necessity of standardizing the recycling of laboratory waste.
