On November 12th, an international chemistry event filled with enthusiasm for knowledge and sparks of ideas was held in Conference Room 118 of our institute. This event specially invited Associate Professor Babar Iqbal, a foreign teacher from our university, to be the keynote speaker. At the event, Chinese and foreign students actively participated, creating a strong academic atmosphere. It not only brought a feast of cutting-edge knowledge to the students, but also built a valuable platform for deep interaction and cross-cultural exchange, achieving complete success. 

Babar Iqbal, a teacher, gave a high-level academic presentation on "Microplastics and Invasive alien plants' effects on the soil and crops" with his profound academic expertise and unique international perspective. Chinese and foreign students seize this rare opportunity to communicate face-to-face with academic experts, actively ask questions, not only focusing on academic theories, but also extending to multiple dimensions such as research methods, cross-cultural differences comparison, and future practical applications.

After the event, the students were still unsatisfied and gathered around the podium to have deeper discussions with the professor. They felt that it not only deepened their understanding of the professional field, but also stimulated their enthusiasm for scientific research and critical thinking. A Chinese student said, "The professor's lecture allowed me to see a broader picture of the subject, and the exchange with international classmates made me realize that the same problem can be interpreted in such diverse ways, which has greatly inspired my future learning and research." An international student also enthusiastically said, "I am very grateful to the college for organizing such an event, which made me feel the purity and inclusiveness of academia. The exchange with Chinese teachers and classmates was very pleasant, and it was an unforgettable experience.

The successful hosting of this academic event is a vivid practice of our college to promote international education and create a strong academic atmosphere.
