Recently, the Education Department of Jiangsu Province announced the list of newly established key laboratories in Jiangsu universities, and our institute's application for the provincial key laboratory for precise perception and prevention of agricultural new pollutants was included.

The research areas of the Key Laboratory for Precise Perception and Prevention of Agricultural New Pollutants in Provincial Universities mainly include three aspects: precise identification and early warning technology for agricultural new pollutants, toxicity effects and risk assessment of agricultural new pollutants, and efficient prevention and control technology and equipment for agricultural new pollutants. The laboratory will focus on comprehensively promoting the construction of a beautiful China, serving Jiangsu Province to continuously promote the construction of a high-level agricultural strong province, focusing on the difficulties and pain points in the treatment of new agricultural pollutants such as insufficient reserve of precision perception technology, incomplete risk assessment and early warning system, and imperfect efficient purification and treatment technology. It will gather the scientific research strength of Jiangsu University, carry out original theoretical research and technological breakthroughs around the "screening and identification risk assessment precision prevention and control" chain, and comprehensively promote and lead the improvement of the province's agricultural environmental protection capabilities.

The laboratory will further refine research directions, strengthen organized scientific research, promote resource openness and sharing, and strive to produce original results with significant impact.
