On December 18, 2025, Dr. Sameh Samir Ali Atwa was formally honored at the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Beijing with a high-level foreign commendation.

The award was presented by H.E. Ambassador Khaled Ahmed Farouk Nazmy, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the People’s Republic of China, who is also the official representative of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in China.

Dr. Sameh Samir Ali Atwa received both a Certificate of Appreciation and the Shield of Excellence in recognition of his outstanding contributions to scientific research and academic excellence, as well as his important role in representing Egypt abroad and promoting scientific and cultural exchange between Egypt and China.
