In order to enable more candidates to understand the characteristics, disciplinary advantages, training conditions, and enrollment policies of the Graduate Education of the School of Environmental and Safety Engineering at Jiangsu University, to build an interactive platform for academic exchanges among college students, to attract outstanding fresh undergraduate graduates to apply for our master's degree programs, and to further expand the channels and improve the quality of our master's degree program, the School of Environmental and Safety Engineering at Jiangsu University plans to hold a summer camp for college students in 2024. The relevant work arrangements are hereby notified as follows:

1、 Application Object

National undergraduate third year students interested in applying for graduate programs in Environmental Science and Engineering, Safety Science and Engineering, and related majors at the School of Environmental and Safety Engineering, Jiangsu University (graduating undergraduate students of the class of 2025).

2、 Application requirements

1. Support the leadership of the CPC, and be willing to serve the construction of the motherland, abide by discipline and law, have good moral character, be honest and trustworthy, have a correct style of study, be positive, and be physically and mentally healthy.

2. Excellent academic performance, with an average GPA in the top 50% of the major.

3. High overall quality, with strong innovative spirit, ability, and potential for professional development.

4. A score of 425 or above in the National College English Test Band 6, or proof of equivalent proficiency.

3、 Event schedule

1. Activity time: The class will start in mid to late July and last for one day;

2. Activity content: Introduction to disciplines, expert lectures, camper seminars, participation in team academic exchanges, comprehensive interviews, camper assessments, etc;

3. Activity mode: remote online;

4. Event platform: Tencent Meeting.

4、 Application process

1. The applicant registered for the summer camp through the Jiangsu University Graduate Admissions Information System from July 1st to July 10th, 2024（ https://yjszsgl.ujs.edu.cn/zsgl/xlygl/login.aspx ）Apply for summer camp registration.

2. The college organizes experts to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the applicant's materials, taking into account the applicant's graduation major, academic ranking, English proficiency, scientific and technological innovation ability, comprehensive quality, and other aspects, and selects the best candidates to determine the list of selected candidates. The list of selected summer camp campers will be announced on the website of the School of Environmental and Safety Engineering at Jiangsu University and notified to me by phone before July 15th. Those who are not selected will not be notified separately.

3. To apply for summer camp, the following materials need to be prepared:

(1) 1 copy of summer camp application form (filled out online through the online registration system);

(2) 1 electronic version of ID card and 1 electronic version of student ID card;

(3) One electronic copy of the academic transcript during the school period (indicating the ranking and stamped with the official seal of the school's academic affairs department);

(4) One electronic copy of English proficiency certificate materials;

(5) One electronic copy of other relevant proof materials and lists, including electronic copies of award (qualification) certificates, proof of scientific research and innovation capabilities (such as research projects, papers, patents), etc.

5、 Other matters

1. The information submitted by the applicant during online registration must be truthful, accurate, and valid.
